Responsibilities of the job include caring for animals, maintaining a clean shelter, and providing exceptional customer service while assisting with adoption counseling and other essential office duties.

Includes holidays and being on call one day a week for after-hours emergency line once trained.
A driver's license is required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Animal Care Ensures that animals are fed, groomed, and exercised daily according to shelter procedures and veterinarian's instructions.
Keeps animal-related areas and the shelter clean/sanitized daily, including, but not limited to, vacuuming, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
Office Duties Provides excellent customer service:
greets all shelter visitors upon arrival, assists with adoptions and animal intakes as trained, and helps answer client's questions with appropriate information.
Completes office work, answering phones in a courteous manner, filing paperwork, and data entry/record keeping.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
Tuesdays-Saturdays or Sundays-Thursdays.
