3 Quakertown, PA Quakertown, PA Contract Contract $20 - $27 an hour $20 - $27 an hour 18 hours ago 18 hours ago 18 hours ago The Title Insurance Administrative Assistant is an essential part of the processing team and is responsible for providing support to the closing staff in handling a wide variety of pre-closing functions requiring a wide array of knowledge and accurate execution of job duties.
This is a CONTRACT position for about 3-4 months! Job
Responsibilities:
Obtaining and reviewing:
(1) payoffs of various kinds, (2) HOA dues, (3) underwriter risk approval, (4) business organizational documents, and properly and completely addressing any other requirements on the title commitment.
Participate in reviewing details for sale and mortgage transactions so that they are properly addressed on closing documents.
Accurately enter lenders, buyers, and sellers figures to complete a Closing Disclosure/ALTA Settlement Statement/HUD1.
Accurately balance files and participate in preparing files for disbursement.
Communicate with all parties to the transaction to obtain necessary information and documentation to satisfy requirements to close the transaction while providing an excellent closing experience.
Establish and maintain strong business relationships with real estate agents, builders, attorneys, and lenders.
Participate in reviewing agreement of sale and lenders closing instructions for all requirements to be completed properly and accurately before closing.
Assist in preparing deeds, affidavits, 1099s forms, and other documents necessary for closing.
Assist in preparing final title policies for distribution at the closing.
Assist in preparing files and post-closing follow up and any post-closing issues Job Requirements:
Education and Skills:
High School Diploma or its equivalent 2
years experience preferred, but not required Highly detailed and organized Ability to multi-task continuously Above average time management and administrative support skills Professional and responsive in all communications - telephone, written, and in person Work well with other employees and managers in a team concept Flexible and positive attitude Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment Exacting in following very specific protocols, yet attentive to the unique details of each transaction Competent in using Microsoft Office suite of products Typing/keyboarding skills About McCallion Staffing:
