Operations Support Manager - 1st Shift

As the Manager of Operations Support, you will ensure the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of processes needed for the Quality Management System. You will promote awareness of customer requirements and have the organizational freedom to resolve matters pertaining to quality, helping to maintain superior levels of product/service conformity. We are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability and more.  What you'll do on a typical day: Drive key quality, inventory and other critical metrics across the site utilizing continuous improvement tools and processes Lead associates in executing daily roles while working in a safe and efficient manner Schedule, review, and follow up on work instructions with supervisors and associates by designated areas of responsibility Ensure review of facility/department training status and setup according to set frequency; ensure meeting training requirements in a timely manner Write specifications for new developments and system enhancements Analyze client requirements, determine fit and customizations, develop proposals, develop supporting data for cost estimates and present XPO's capabilities and solution to client prospect Serve as project manager for system implementations and upgrades, and provide ongoing support Support implementations by developing documented implementation plans, configuring systems, training users, and providing post-implementation support Perform process and data modeling Generate project ideas and solutions Implement change within and across departments Utilize and maintain warehouse management system processes to maintain appropriate work documents and outcomes What you need to succeed at XPO: At a minimum, you'll need: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline 5 or more years of experience in utilization of Lean Six Sigma methodologies Previous experience leading value stream assessments and Lean improvement events (Kaizen events) Strong leadership skills with ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization Results and action oriented, organized, ability to deal with ambiguity, good problem-solver Objective, open-minded, "out-of-the-box" thinker, change agent Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to quickly gain credibility with all levels of management Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrate a positive attitude and teamwork in meeting goals and objectives Communicate well with leadership, team members and other departments as well as client representatives It'd be great if you also have: Statistical software, process mapping/modeling and prediction modeling tools skills (Crystal Ball) Experience improving business processes Distribution and e-commerceexperience utilizing continuous processes strongly Be part of something big. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
