Part Time Production Associate - Door Shop Assembler *12 pm - 4pm**Mon-Fri*

Shelly Enterprises, founded in 1923 is one of the oldest and largest suppliers of lumber, hardware, building materials and manufactured components in Eastern Pennsylvania.

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Production Associate to join our team at our Quakertown Distribution Center, in our Door Shop.

Essential Job Duties:

The Door Shop / Mill Shop Associate is responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Working with a team in a production setting, using hand and power tools to assemble interior door units according to customer orders
  • Prep material used in the assembly of interior doors, Bi-Fold, & Bi-Pass units using power saws, air nail guns, staplers and other automated equipment as needed
  • Assemble interior, single and double door units
  • Pick and pull production material as needed
  • Load, unload, store and package inventory as needed
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment while observing all posted safety rules


  • Carpentry or woodworking experience a plus
  • Ability to operate equipment such as :staplers, nail guns, routers, variety of saws
  • Attention to detail while working in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs on a repetitive basis, occasionally up to 100 lbs or more
  • Have a desire to produce a quality product with a team effort in the assembly process

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
